Science Education

Course Objectives

  • To enhance students’ curiosity and interest in learning science through a variety of experiment-based activities.
  • To build a foundation in science through the Christian spirit, enabling students to pursue deeper academic knowledge.
  • To develop higher-order thinking skills and practical data-handling abilities through inquiry-based activities, such as planning, measuring, observing, analysing data, designing and evaluating experimental procedures, and verifying results, so that students can realise their aspirations in daily life, make informed judgements, and solve problems.
  • To strengthen students’ ability to integrate and apply knowledge and skills from different disciplines. With STEM as the foundation for development, students will be equipped to respond to changes and challenges in an ever-changing society and contribute to today’s world of science and technology.
