Junior Form’s courses
- Cultivate students' aesthetic ability, improve their knowledge and skills in design and sewing, and help students develop their creativity.
- Raise students 'awareness of food and nutrition, develop healthy eating habits, establish a correct attitude towards diet and health, cultivate students' interest in cooking, and be creative.
- Through practical lessons (cooking and good sewing), students can improve their critical thinking, problem-solving and communication skills in their experiences, and cultivate positive values of students.
- Improve students' skills of living in harmony with others in daily life.

Activities
In order for students to use what they have learned, the Home Economics Department organizes different activities.
- Lent activities: Four Houses work together to produce the characteristic Rice Krispies.
- Cooking competition: teachers and students show their talents and the atmosphere is harmonious.
- Secondary 2 Interdisciplinary Exhibition: Co-operated by the Department of Home Economics, Music and Visual Arts.
Visiting activities
The Home Economics Department will arrange different visits to allow students to learn more from the experience and broaden their knowledge.
Home Economics Club
Students who are interested in Home Economics can continue to expand and deepen their studies through the home economics society.
In addition to cooking, this year I also participated in the Jockey Club ICH+ Innovative Heritage Education Programme. Students have the opportunity to learn the history, culture and production methods of the gown.
